Move in Park Creates New Opportunities for our Artists

Every few years Silver Dollar City moves our Best of Missouri Hands group to different places on the park. National Harvest Festival is September 12 – October 26, 2013.  This year we will be in 2 locations which will create new opportunities for our artists. Those that have longer stays during the festival will be on the square and those with shorter stays will be in the Carousel Barn. Currently, we have 8 openings in the Carousel Barn, weeks  #1, #2 ,#3, #4, & #7. So here is your chance. If you have been thinking about giving Silver Dollar City a try, let us know!  You can sign up for just a 1 week slot to test the waters if you wish. A new exciting attraction at the park will bring more guests and patrons. The Outlaw Run will open in March and will feature the steepest drop on any wooden roller coaster in the world at 81°. It will also be the only operating wooden roller coaster to feature inversions and will also be tied with Colossos at Heide Park as the second fastest wooden roller coaster in the world, with a top speed of 68 miles per hour. We look forward to hearing from BOMH juried artists who may have considered participating in the Silver Dollar City Harvest Festival, but just have not taken the steep plunge!
