and we want to introduce him to you.

Paul has exhibited his many marble, onyx, and alabaster sculptures in Stone Soup Galleries since we opened our doors three years ago. He is a man who is passionate about stone. Before carving, Paul studies the block he is working with, taking in the native surface properties, matrix lines and inherent patterns. Only then does he begin to liberate the form which has lain captive in the stone for millennia.

A gem in our city’s crown is the City Museum where Paul is the resident stone sculptor. When you visit you will see his many original and collaborative works shown throughout.
