Students learn about life as an artist from Mollie Chounard

Juried Best of Missouri Hands painter, Mollie Chounard visited St. Peters Elementary in St Peters, MO twice in January to speak to students about life as an artist.  She had 15-25 students each visit and met with 3rd thru 5th graders.

Mollie shared….

I spoke about life as an artist. How I got started and how I came to do this as a living. I talked to them about my inspirations, and gave them some background on my style of art. I showed and discussed several pieces of my work. I talked to them about my creative process and the concepts of my art. I also talked about different mediums and techniques, and answered questions.
