A summer art/science camp for high school students ages 15-18 The Arts As A Portal to Science July 24-28, 2016 Held on the University of Missouri-Columbia campus

Come to MIZZOU this summer and experience an atmosphere that promotes creativity, imagination and innovation! Experience a science lab and work beside world famous scientists where their recent discoveries will be revealed. Experience an art studio and explore the arts as a way to understand and communicate the complexity of science.   Learn how to use visual images, digital storytelling, theatre, and the performing arts to communicate the science story. Learn theatre techniques that enhance your presentation skills when communicating scientific research.   DATE:  July 24-28, 2016 AGES:  For high school students ages 15-18 LOCATION:  University of Missouri-Columbia campus COST:  Early residential camp registration fee is $500. Deadline for early registration is May 7. Act now, registration after May 7 is $550. Commuter registration fee received by June 30 is $305.
