Trails West – Call For Artists – St. Joseph, MO

Application deadline for Fine Artists, Fine Crafters, and Food Vendors extended to April 30, 2016

 

St. Joseph, Mo.— April 14, 2016—Trails West!® has extended the application deadline until April 30 for food vendors, fine artists and crafters for the 2016 festival. This is a juried event with room for approximately 60 fine artists and crafters and 30 food vendors. Applications must be postmarked by April 30.

Trails West!® welcomes all genres and subject matter of artistic expression. While this year’s theme is “Yesterday’s Heritage, Tomorrow’s Dream,” the arts and crafts do not need to represent St. Joseph’s history. 

Trails West!® is also searching for unique food vendors. The community enjoys coming to the event for the traditional festival foods, but they also enjoy trying one-of-a-kind treats.

Trails West!® is the largest festival in northwest Missouri and draws audiences from over 100 miles including southeast Nebraska, northeast Kansas, southwest Missouri and Kansas City. Over 40,000 people attend Trails West!® over three days each year.

Trails West!® is an outdoor arts festival, hosted by the Allied Arts Council, celebrating the unique cultural heritage of St. Joseph, Mo. Now in its 24th year, the festival features fine arts, folk arts, culinary arts, music, dance, and theatre. The 2016 festival will be held August 19-21 at Civic Center Park.
