Volunteers Needed – Folklife Festival – Hannibal, MO

PLEASE VOLUNTEER.

The Hannibal Arts Council needs you!

39th Annual Folklife Festivall

October 17 & 18, 2015

Consider volunteering for more than one shift or multiple booths.  You could even recruit friends and family to help too and fill an entire time slot!

HOW YOU CAN HELP…

-COFFEE BOOTH-

If you like the smell of coffee (or are addicted to caffeine) this is the place to be! We will also be serving hot chocolate, lemonade and bottled water.

Saturday time slots are available from 9:00-11:30, 11:30-1:30, 1:30-3:30 and 3:30-5:00

Sunday time slots are available from 9:00-11:30, 11:30-1:30 and 1:30-4:00

-ROOT BEER BOOTH-            If you like the fast pace of selling bottled root beer, cream soda and water this is the place you want to be!

Saturday time slots are available from 9:00-11:30, 11:30-1:30, 1:30-3:30 and 3:30-5:00

Sunday time slots are available from 9:00-11:30, 11:30-1:30 and 1:30-4:00

-FESTIVAL PREP- Friday night set-up is always fun…well maybe not fun…but it certainly is a time when we need some strong arms and backs.  This would be on Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at the Bird and Main intersection.

– FESTIVAL AFTERMATH – After the festival ends there are so many things that need to be coordinated, including the return of festival supplies/equipment to the Hannibal Arts Council building/storage unit, making sure all our booths are taken down and making sure Downtown Hannibal look as good as we found it.

We appreciate all of the volunteers during the festival, but the set-up and take-down volunteer crews are also very important!  A few willing bodies and fresh “crew” at the end of the festival is so appreciated!

Take-down and clean up starts at Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at Bird and Main Street intersection.

Contact the HAC office at (573)221-6545 or reply to this email with your volunteer preference(s).
