PAINTING TREES AND FOLIAGE IN WATERCOLOR
INSTRUCTOR: Jerry Thomas
Mondays, Oct. 5-26  • 6-9 p.m.
$104 (includes work manual written by instructor)

Learn the special methods, colors and values, and textures for creating tree and grass forms in transparent watercolors. There are some unique colors, brushes and watercolor papers required. A list will be provided.

MIXED MEDIA TECHNIQUES
INSTRUCTOR: Jerry Thomas
Tuesdays; Nov. 3-24 • 6-9 p.m.
$104 (includes work manual written by instructor)

Learn the exciting effects of combining different media and how to do it safely. Wet media (watercolor, oil, acrylic, etc.) can work well with dry media (graphite, charcoal, pastel, chalk, etc.) but obey the rules if you want your artwork to be permanent.

COLLAGE AND DESIGN WORKSHOP
INSTRUCTOR: SHIRLEY NACHTRIEB
Oct. 23 & 24, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., $110
The class will create unique papers for collage. Experimental techniques will be explored on a variety of papers to be used in the class projects. Golden fluid acrylics are recommended. Transparent and opaques techniques will be discussed. Additional design approaches will be executed. All levels are welcome.
GREETING CARD WORKSHOP
INSTRUCTOR: SHIRLEY NACHTRIEB
Oct. 30 & 31,
9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., $110

Students will use a variety of prepared and purchased papers along with their favorite rubber stamps to create seasonal greeting cards.

MUSIC FOR ME!

Great experiences for 1 1/2- to 5-year-olds!
Wednesdays, 10:15-11 a.m.

A parent or caregiver joins in the fun. Children will play with rhythm instruments, use props and learn expressive movement to accompany the songs. The themes are explored through songs, finger plays and dances. The materials fee includes take home materials used during the class and a decorated canvas bag for bringing special things.
Celebrate the Season
Oct. 21-Nov 18 • $45

Come celebrate the beautiful autumn season in song! We’ll sing about apples, pumpkins and falling leaves in this harvest time class. A “not scary” Halloween party with costumes will be a special treat just before Halloween.

Christmas Time is Coming!
Dec. 2 & 9 • $25

Put aside the to-do list for Christmas and spend some time with your favorite little one. We’ll sing about Santa and his reindeer, Christmas cookies and playful elves. Your preschooler’s eyes will glow as we celebrate this special season with songs and finger plays just for them!
